Jerome Thompson: Yes, you can. Without a Sky subscription, however, the Sky+ box will not play/record/pause, so you gain nothing over having a standard Sky box.

Upgrading from Sky to Freesat | Freesat

Adam: You will need to change the "LNB" for a "quad-LNB" package to give you the outputs you need, and you will need to run in a satellite-grade cable for the second tuner in the Freesat+ box.

£26 for a quad-LNB - Buy Quad Output Universal LNB at Argos.co.uk - Your Online Shop for Free to air satellite.
- the cable cost depends on the length of the run.

Terry: It depends where you are, most people find that FM is full of static and other interference and DAB transmissions are stable, reliable and fault-free.

Mick Cade: "Yesterday" as it is called now, is a pay satellite channel.

You don't need to disconnect anything, just switch between Freeview and Freesat using your remote control.

You will need a rooftop aerial pointing at a Freeview transmitter for reliable reception.

Michael Bane: It isn't clear what this means.

What I suspect it means is that if there are parts of the country that keep local radio on FM due to no local DAB coverage, then this won't stop the national DAB switchover.
