parsnip: No, you must subscribe to Sky's basic package first via their system before you can do that via satellite.
You can also get Sky Sports 1 and 2 though digital terrestrial - either Top Up TV, BT Vision, and also Virgin Media.

NJR: Your best option is to run a satellite-grade cable from the Freesat TV to one of the spare outputs on the LNB package on the dish.

neil: You should be able to get a service from the Darvel transmitter, but you might find it cheaper to install a Freesat HD system.

Alan: The intention is that DAB coverage will be improved, but as far as I know there are no plans for improvements in the Eastbourne area this year.
It is a great shame for you, I have a small cheap DAB radio and it works perfectly everywhere in Brighton and Hove.

grahamgoingnuts: There is no "multiplex 2A". They are called 1, 2, A, B, C and D.
If you have a problem with a communal aerial system, contact whoever it is who is responsible for your shared system.
This is normally the management company.

ian james: If you use a SKY+HD box, you must pay Sky a subscription to use it. If you have a Freesat+HD box, you can use it for free.
You will also need to have a quad-LNB fitted to your dish to provide the extra outputs, and suitable cable run in.

Dave: If it says "to view this you need a new card" then you probably will. It only provides access to Fiver, Five USA and Sky3.
