Declan: Have you tried doing a "first time installation" on your box. The DVB-T2 specification says this format is supported.
I would contact Toshiba and ask them for assistance.

phil: You can connect the DVD Recorder to the "other" SCART on the Virgin box. There is no need for the second SCART for that.
