Caroline: As above, the services are off until 6am. Digital is much better as you will find at 6am.

KB Aerials Sheffield : I do have to say that to "not notice" the digital switchover requires you to:

1) Ignore the six months of billboard adverts

2) Watch analogue TV and miss those constant overlay messages

3) Turn on Freeview and dismiss every time the on-screen messages

4) Ignore the adverts online, on TV and on radio

5) Miss all the stuff in the local press

Which must require a very special effort.

KB Aerials Sheffield : There's always one!

I would imagine things will get busy here later today when people find their boosters and mega-aerials are not quite doing what they had hoped.

I also wish I had a pound for every time I have to explain what "ready" means, in the sense of HD...

Plucky: Wharfdale is on the "9am" list, so you should hold off retuning until then, as it is possible that there are still tests being done.

Alan: That's it, there will be no changes until perhaps 2013-16 if the "lower DDR range" is used for new Freeview services, and the 2013 introduction of a local TV service.
