Steve Hine: Freeview doesn't use a dish, it uses an aerial. If you are using then that is Freesat. At the moment, some Red Button content is scrambled by Sky and not available to Freesat viewers.

Keith: If you get a Freesat+HD box you will be able to play/record/pause the same free channels.

Alistair: You don't have a Freeview box, so you won't be able to record Freeview. You can't (usually) record from a TV set's internal tuner.

Bernie: Probably yes, but I can't say for sure without a postcode.

Sara: Is your aerial located on the roof? If so, please see Single frequency interference | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

Mo: Yes, Freeview reception is usually very unstable without a rooftop aerial.

You have a right, under the Communications Act 2003 to have access to Freeview, but that only requires your landlord to grant you permission to install an aerial, not to provide one for you.
