I was referring to the Saorview satellite service. As it's not on Astra 2A/B/D/1N, a Soarview satellite user will NOT be viewing Freesat channels, at least not without a second dish and receiver.
If you can get a service from Claremont Cairn, you will get a wider selection of channels (including the News and Kids' offerings) than you would from the NIMM.

Mandy: UKTV do not wish to risk their subscription income from BSkyB and are not in a position to put Yesterday on Freesat.
This is despite Freesat being a BBC/ITV project and UKTV being a joint BBC/Scripps Networks Interactive project.

Bridget: Can you please provide a full postcode for the location where you are having reception issues?
Haywards Heath has no digital channels until 30th May 2012/13th June 2012.

Norman Ansell: You are not in a marginal reception area, you are in the primary one. C49 is still well within group C/D, so you don't need a new aerial.
There is no financial help for this for anyone.

Peter Henderson: I have heard the same about the change of C53 to C52, and the removal of restrictions to improve coverage. I'm not sure if the restrictions only apply to the multiplex with TG4, RTE1 and RTE2 on it, or if other services will be available to the north. I would guess not.

Carl: And of course, if it were on the same service as UK services, people in Ireland might be distracted by the hundreds of Freesat channels they could watch...
