Not sure if I am allowed to post a link or not but I noticed on another site it mentioned atmospheric conditions are very bad...
"Weather related Freeviewreception issues: Eastern England will see relatively strong interferece to terrestrial TV and radio in the next 48-72 hours. Parts of Wales, West Midlands and NW England are especially prone to some interference in the next 24 hours.
Later this weekend, all western parts of Britain and Ireland will see conditions conducive to very strong interference. Southern coastal areas will also continue to see periodic interference. Do not retune. This is not a fault with your local TVtransmitter. "
Hope that helps. Had been having signal issues for most of Friday night. Tonight seems better. Am on the Oxford transmitter living near Cirencester (GL7).
