Keighley (Bradford, England) Full Freeview transmitter

I live in a multi-unit apartment building and have no idea where the antenna is, but I have a Freeview-ready TV that uses a signal booster and plugs into a plate on the wall labelled "TV". It has worked without fault for over six months... suddenly this evening there's "no signal". I have done everything, reset everything, followed all of the typical procedures... Have rescanned over and over again. I have a hard time believing that my tv and/or the signal booster can suddenly just stop receiving the signal. yet the website says all the transmitters in my area are fine. ARE YOU SURE?

Is this site updated 24/7? I have two TVs, since yesterday evening there's been NO SIGNAL. I have repeatedly done all of the steps to rescan, I have changed the aerial setup, I have used the signal booster then tried it without, I bough a new cheap TV just in case, to check-- Nothing. Simply NO SIGNAL. No channel, DTV, ATV, whatever. Indoor antenna, communal buidling antenna, no antenna, whatever--NOTHING. Everything worked perfectly since September, every channel, no issues-- then suddenly all gone.
Is it really possible that the transmitter is OK???

Thanks for the replies-- To be frank, most of my neighbours don't speak English well enough to understand me, and everyone else I know has Satellite or cable... The problem is that it happened on Friday evening, meaning there's no one I can contact. What's especially distressing is that even unplugged from the communal aerial, and trying to use an indoor one, still I get Nothing... When I first hooked up the TV in September, even before getting a signal booster and hooking it up to the communal antenna, I at least got a few channels with poor reception-- now there's literally nothing. This situation is challenging my understanding of the universe.

Yeah, I've rescanned about 27 times-- I even bought a new Freeview-ready TV because I assumed the TV simply stopped picking up a signal. The new TV has the same problem. There are no options left here, if it's not a transmitter issue, there must be an inversion bubble over my apartment... One would think a rescan with only an indoor DTV aerial would pick up SOMETHING, even if just barely, so that I would know something was being transmitted? This is driving me crazy, not just because I didn't get to see Mythbusters yesterday, but becuase I can't make sense of it (that is, if it's true there's been no change in or issue with transmission)... Argh!

Thanks again--
I'm in BD1 5BL, and I'm beginning to think, as Ron Lake and JB38 mentioned, that perhaps it's a relay I've been receiving from (since I needed a signal booster from September to get all of freeview, and have been told I shouldn't have needed a booster for Emley Moor).
I've tried manually tuning and all the same... no signal.
When I first turn the TV on, Signal Information says Modulation QPSK,Quality 0, Strength 91. After I scan or try to manually enter a channel, Modulation, Quality and Strangth are all 0.
But I really have a feeling there's a relay station with problems... I've tried calling a phone number on a BBC site, but the number didn't work!

Looking a the map of the Emley Moor transmitter on this website, BD1 5BL is not in a green zone...(?) Since I've always needed a booster to get all of the channels, isn't that an indication that either my building was never getting the Emley Moor signal or something's been wrong with the communal aerial?
I guess my confusion comes from the fact that I can't get any sort of signal whatever from an indoor antenna or by any means. I would expect, if it were an issue with the communal antenna, that unplugged from it, I would recieve something, if only one channel with poor reception? (As I did when I first moved into the building in September)
Sorry to keep bothering everyone about this-- I'm just hoping that it isn't a problem with my building because God knows if it would ever be taken care of... Either way it looks like the fact that this happened over a weekend has made it complicated...

Brilliant! My building concierge was not around all day and my repeated calls to the company in charge of the building have gone unanswered! (Yes, it is the Gatehaus). How interesting that television can vanish, just like that!
So I gather that it's a building problem--the worst-case scenario-- which will likely never be fixed.
But seriously-- is it really possible that, assuming to fault is with the communal aerial (or a connection to it), is it really likely that I would receive no signal at all when trying to rescan (or manually find) with an indoor aerial and booster. Nothing?
Anyone know of a cable or satellite TV provider with short term contracts?

Hey, thanks for all of the input...
Looks like whatever happens, I won't be watching TV anytime soon!
I was just looking at the Freesat and Freesat from Sky websites, and it looks like they don't offer the channel Dave or Quest, the channels I probably watch the most...!

Thanks again, everbody, for the help and advice... I'll update if there's any good news!

Hello all,

So last week I bought a cheap freesat box and hooked it into the building SAT line, and Freesat worked fine. Problem: no good channels, barely worth the trouble. More depressing to have TV with nothing worth watching than no TV at all, eh? What's with all the American shows, anyway?

I was only able to email my rental agency about the loss of Freeview signal, but never heard back; I could never reach the buidling manager or concierge...

I had to leave town for a few days and just returned a half hour ago, ran a scan again for Freeview, pessimistic as ever, and BEHOLD!

Suddenly my Freeview's back...! SO while the signal's been returned I am still in the dark as to what happened and how it was fixed. I don't know if my email actually had an effect or not-- but the signal was gone for at least 5 days...

So at least I get to watch Quest, Dave, and Yesterday again... hopefully I can depend on it...!
