Freeview channel number changes to go ahead: HD, Adult move on Friday 19 October 2012 1:26PM
Southsea
Following sound advice from Dave L, I have just turned my aerial for vertical polarisation (towards Rowridge) and upon retuning, Film 4 etc.. on UHF Channel 28 had good signal strength.. notwithstanding that the signal strength of BBC 1,2 etc.. on UHF Channel 24 dropped a bit. That was ok, then a few minutes after the retune, all of the freeview channel had 'no signal'??? (at approx midday today). After various unsuccessful attempts at retuning all of the channels are now back? The main reason of concern here is, when my scaffolding is removed tomorrow I will no longer to able to get to the aerial and therefore need to get it right today... was the sudden loss of channels just a blip or related to the aforementioned repositioning of the aerial?
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Hi
I am having problems receiving the TV channels on UHF channel 28 (i.e. Film 4 etc...)from the Rowridge (IOW) transmitter. I have decent 'digital' aerial and have positioned it to receive the strongest reception for all channels, but UHF channel 28 appears to be so weak. Anyone else experiencing this problem and is there a workaround?
Many thanks
