Below are all of Donald Grant's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page.Neil, It will depend on where in the town you are living. Some people in higher parts of the town can get signal from Blackhill/Kirk O' Shotts whilst others can pick up Grampian on analogue. It's pretty much a lottery as to what you get and what you don't. I'm at the bottom end of Cornbank and can only get the local relay station.

Down in the town centre I'd think your chances of Darvel are somewhere between nil and zero Neil. To be honest I think your best option in that location would be to go down the satellite route. Historically Penicuik has always been a poor reception area. Freesat will also give you more channels than Freeview are offering us here.

OK so we know that the first of the FTA digital services for Penicuik start tomorrow, but when? Is it from midnight tonight, eight in the morning or just at some random time during the day?

Will there be any test transmissions of digital signal after digital equipment has been installed at the Penicuik mast?
