Can I ask if I opt to keep the Sky+ HD box and pay Sky £10.00 a month, I will get Sky Freesat only plus the pause, rewind, record and the Gnome facilities.

I had a look at a Panasonic Freesat box today - liked the idea of it having a builtin CD/DVD player.
The salesman gave the impression that this sort of configuration was only available on Panasonic boxes.
Is he right?

I've given Sky 31 days notice and I am looking at what to do after Sky.
I want to be able to record, pause and rewind, also I would like to be able to keep the feed to the bedroom with the abilty to use the remote Eye control and still use the Sky Gnome.
Any advice would be appreciated.
