Hello, living in Peterhead area and last week my freeview box froze picture, controls would not work. Attached old digibox and it worked fine but only one scart so have dvd and need 2, could only watch tv. Old style Panasonic tv Quintrix not hd ready but have dolby digital sound. Digital aerial on roof and worked fine before so don't think it is the aerial. Bought Goodmans freeview HD box today and tuned in, lacking a lot of channels i got before, why? My partner has tv with built in freeview in other room and he gets many more channels than me. Goodmans info says it is using the highlands and islands transmitter and the signal strength is 15% Does this sound right or have i bought a faulty box? Also have i wasted money on a freeview HD box, did not fancy the £17 but might have been better than spending £60, getting less channels now than before, it gives me HD channels but are they HD if i have not hd tv and not connected with special cable? i do not know much about these things sorry.
