Below are all of Nigel Moreton's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page. Thanks for that! I find the whole thing very frustrating because when I bought the tv some 5 years ago, I was advised then to buy a tv that was 'HD Ready' as it was the thing to come. Now, my local transmitter has started transmitting HD channels, I've bought a Freeview HD- and it doesn't work!! I'll wait a little longer now til I need to update the tv. Annoying. Cheers, Nigel

My post code is SY5 9HW.
Just checked my output settings from the box. The HDMI/HDCP is switched on, resolution set at 720p, the same as the tv.

Feela bit miffed really- it was sold as 'HD Ready' and has those words printed on the set itself! I bought it about 5 years ago so I suppose its a bit late to take it back now- although it is 'unfit for purpose'!!

I have similar problems to Ian Macrea. I have a Bush FreeviewHD box, but an older Bush HD ready tv that does not have an HDMI input, only a DVI-D input. I bought a cable, HDMI one end and DVI-D the other, but when I select the DVI-D input on the tv I get nothing at all. The box works fine with scart connection but of course I don't get HD that way (do I?)
