Like Andrew Oldacre above, I've also been experiencing intermittent (sometimes only for a few hours but occasionally for several days) total loss of signal for a few months now. Torosay beams it to Mallaig (which is a relaytransmitter for our Freeview Light service) before reaching us here eight miles away on Skye. When working normally the strength & quality hover around 100% whatever the weather, so would I be correct in assuming that the ongoing engineering work on the Torosay mast might be sufficient in itself for folk like us at the end of the line to lose reception completely?
