You offered two possible solutions to my problem. I tried the first (factory re-set) without success. I'd like to try your second suggestion, but not sure how to go about it. When I do the re-install, it tells me I can get 115 channels. How do I know which are together as a multiplex? Then how do I tune to that multiplex manually and delete it? Thanks for any further help you can give. What keeps beating me is that I can get Sky news when I re-tune, and I can switch from channel to channel, and then back to Sky news without losing it. But if I switch the tv set off, it will not come up when I switch back on. How frustrating is that?? All the best, Gerard.

Since the digital switchover I have trouble getting Sky News on my Phillips tv set with built-in Freeview. I do a complete re-installation and the Skynews is there. If I change channels I can come back to it. But if I switch the set off, then turn back on, Skynews (plus the other channels with which it is bundled) are missing. Any ideas please?
