Below are all of Leon's postings, with the most recent are at the bottom of the page. Thanks Dave, that's really helpful. One further question - until about 2 weeks ago we were also receiving multiplexes 1 and B, only for the signal to decline suddenly on New Years Eve. Would you have any ideas as to how/why this happened?

Barnet
We have a fairly modern TV with a built-in Freeview HD tuner, and have recently moved house from inner London to the northern outskirts covered by the New Barnet transmitter. Needless to say, we have noticed a considerable decline in services received. Whilst previously we enjoyed every Freeview channel we now only get a small number. Reception from multiplex C is fine, with multiplex D patchy at best. Reception from all other multiplexes is either very poor or non-existent.
We are in a purpose-built block of flats with a large number of satellite dishes lining the walls (presumably owned by the other inhabitants). Could this be compounding the problem?
Besides this, is there anything we can do to improve the situation pre-switchover i.e. consider inspecting the external (shared) aerial?
Thanks
Leon
