Thanks for that. The move is not very clear on the chart above. Changing the channels is not hugely helpful to those that want decent TV reception of a couple of fairly mainstream HD channels!
If it were me I'd kick a few other channels into the wide blue yonder, 45, 105 and 204, perhaps. But then perhaps I'm just a grumpy old git...

I can't find BBC World Service, Ch 710 on the list of channels - is it not transmitted from Bromsgrove?

Yet another week of engineering work! You've said previously that 'Transmitter engineering' never explain, but can anyone suggest what 'they' might be doing?
It has been going on for months - it certainly degrades the signal, as they suggest.
If they're not careful they'll ruin Wimbledon watching as well as 6 Nations Rugby. And then there's the Olympics.
They could have built a whole new transmitter in the time it's taking.

Thanks for your comments.
The problem with using Bromsgrove is the Lickey Incline, which is at the bottom of my garden. Without that it would be line of sight, pretty much, to the Worms Ash transmitter, 2.5 miles away. The aerial fitter did start with that setup, but the first train that went past chopped up the signal. And there are plenty of trains.
Although Ridge Hill is a bit distant, there are no real obstructions, so it has been a good service since we moved here 9 years ago. I have absorbed the warnings about retuning and I try to make sure I am using the specific Ridge Hill channels.
I note your comments about engineeering work needing to be done safely, my frustration is that it seems to have become a continuous process since last year at least.

Update on my reception problems: The aerial signal went to an unpowered splitter with 2 outputs. The aerial guy has now replaced that with a Labgear 2 In 4 Out amp. I have checked signal quality and it is now well over 90%, 100% in some cases. Things are looking good, so far...
p.s. Only using the UHF input, I don't have VHF or DAB aerial

The amp is a Labgear LDA204K. The blurb says it has "Class 1 filtering to provide a typical 40dB protection from interference from 4G and 5G signal transmissions." I'll see how we go for a bit before doing any more tinkering.

I have retuned my Youview box and I no longer get Chs 106 and 107, BBC4 HD and BBC News HD. I don't tend to watch the other offerings on the Com 7 and Com 8 Muxs. I can understand that the recent bad weather may have prevented the changeover going smoothly. Can anyone shed any light on whether there is a problem with channels 32 and 34 on Ridge Hill? I am at B60 3DE and prior to the retune had no problems. I did unplug the aerial, retune, plug in again and retune.
