UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

This transmitter has no current reported problems

The BBC and Digital UK report there are no faults or engineering work on the Dumbarton (West Dunbartonshire, Scotland) transmitter.

Christine Mitchell: The Millburn Muir transmitter which covers Dumbarton has been off air due to a fault since yesterday. Unfortunately the BBC don't give any further information as to the cause or how long it will take to fix.

Christine Mitchell: There is a power outage reported at the transmitter's postcode, G83 0AZ. While this doesn't mean for certain that it affects the supply to the transmitter, it seems a likely possibility. At the time of writing, the estimated restore time is 26th January at 14:00.

SP Energy Networks is responsible for the electricity network in the area. The incident reference for the transmitter's postcode is INCD-1116781-s, information on which can be viewed here:

https://www.spenergynetwo…81-s

It says that the incident was created on 24th January at 12:46.

BBC Reception [bbc.co.uk/reception] says that the FM and DAB radio transmitters went off air on that date at 12:22 and that the TV transmitter went off at 19:36, also on the same date.
