Map of all FM, MW and LW transmitters
You can click on a transmitter group symbol to see all the masts in that county or area, or click on a single transmitter to see the coverage area. Due to the large number of radio transmitters, many have been grouped into counties or administrative areas for ease of viewing.Showing transmitters in Isle Of Wight, England

Thanks Brian. I see it now. Was expecting to see it pinpointed on its own, not grouped under the map marker south of Willaston.

Stuart Owens: Sorry, yes, I added in the groups - Do you need faster radio transmitter maps? See UK Free TV | About UK Free TV | ukfree.tv - 11 years of independent, free digital TV advice - people told me this page was too slow...

just seen/read your "stay calm and listen to Saddleworth Radio" poster.
Pity it doesn't give the reader (i.e. ME) a clue as to what wavelength to tune to, or if you are an "online only" station, or what?!?!?!?!.

Hi, why is LW missing from the frequency lists?
Is it also true that when the last valve breaks at Droitwich, BBC will turn off Radio 4 LW from there?

Why are so many people in favour of switching off AM transmitters? To do so would mean I would be unable to recieve my local BBC radio station [ BBC Radio Bristol] from my location due to local topography unable to get that station on FM or DAB ,only able to get Welsh staions

A Harris: I did a series of articles on this... The end is near for analogue radio... Part one, a Medium and Long Wave goodbye | Digital radio | ukfree.tv - 11 years of independent, free digital TV advice
The main reason is one of cost: with so few users, it's much cheaper for people in your situation to switch to online listening.

Hi, the website doesn't seem to be working properly via this page any more:
List of all analogue radio frequencies | ukfree.tv - 12 years of independent, free digital TV advice
Every time you click on the frequency for each radio station it just comes up with a coverage map but there is no icons to click on via the map just bubbles and you cannot see the different stations apart from just the kW power and cannot click on them.
It has always worked before every time until now, please take a look at the URL. Thanks Mike Phelps

Mike Phelps: I just tried Analogue radio on 96.3MHz | ukfree.tv - 12 years of independent, free digital TV advice and several others and they all work fine from here.
Nothing has changed on these pages, you can click on the blue transmitter symbols to show the transmitter details for that page.
If you want to see station coverage areas they are accessed from List of all analogue radio (FM, MW and LW) radio stations | ukfree.tv - 12 years of independent, free digital TV advice
For example Details of BBC Radio Leeds (FM) analogue radio station | ukfree.tv - 12 years of independent, free digital TV advice
