Here in Plymouth I will be losing my favourite radio station Planet Rock. We have no coverage from Sound Digital and are unlikely to get any coverage in the near future. What a let down.

Up here in Norfolk we've lost Planet Rock, as Sound Digital new transmissions don't reach here. I get a very very broken up version on channel 11A, but I don't know where it's transmitted from, and frankly it's not worth listening to.

Lee: I realise you may already know, but just in case you don't, there's a petition regarding the loss of Planet Rock in many areas. https://www.change.org/p/…link
You can see the correspondence I've had with Bauer, and their responses :-(

Lee: the Dunkirk site has the new sound digital so that part of kent cover by the site will not lose Planet Rock.
the signal from dose cover every well i'm in sandwich & get a every good signal from Dunkirk site. plus before i was geting DAB from dover for BBC & D1 & Local DAB from thanet but that signal was not so good but is better now that swingate now has help boots DAB. but if you outside east kent you should be geting sound digital as bluebel hill is one of free sites to get it.

Gutted to be losing Absolute 80's, I'm in Cumbria and bought DAB for the house and car so I could listen to my favourite channel. Why change to an inferior channel that doesn't broadcast to many areas in the UK, absolutely diabolical and seems the radio stations don't care about losing their listeners either!

The current Sound digital transmitters are shown here:

Bluebell Hill is not on the current list, but most of the Medway towns are covered from Wrotham.
Futher transmitter expansion is planned in the near future.

Hi, appreciate this is a a bit late into the discussion but why can we no longer receive Planet Rock and Absolute 80's here in mid Suffolk ?
I have re-scanned the car DAB and the coverage maps suggest we can....
