10 million Freeview homes

Extrapolating from the Ofcom figures, today will see the 10,000,000th Freeview home.

Already the box connected to most televisions in the UK, and dispite a recent press release from Datamonitor, Freeview is now the most used television box in the UK. So unless there has been a massive and unreported downturn in the sales, Freeview is the primary digital TV box in ten million homes.
