For the last six years, I have answered many thousands of personal emails that you have sent to UK Free TV.
Sadly, I am unable to offer this personal service at the moment.
Until I can restore this service, please can you leave any questions you have on an appropriate page, where they will be answered as soon as possible, or below, if you can't figure out where to ask.

David- Bilsdale's signals are all at the lower end of the tuning bar, can you repeat what the engineer did?
Does your TV show a frequency number as it tunes ?
Your frequency numbers are 26, 29, 43, 46, 40. and HD 23 (not all TV's carry HD).
If possible, you could do a Manual Tune using the above frequency's ?

I am aware of the current changes taking place with the Freesat satellites. It was my understanding that there was always a "Gibraltar lobe" which broadcast the British TV channels to Gibraltar. Has this now disappeared? Was it ever actually there?! If it was, what will the people of Gibraltar do now? Sorry - that's three questions ;-)

Nora not at all clear what equipment you are using.
If you still have a dish that got normal UK Sky TV you can replace it with a cheap Freesat Tuner.
If your old digibox is Freeview - ie conventional aerial, worth giving it a try if you have an aerial.

my second tv is connected to sky using a magic eye and aerial from the main tv. I have bought a new tv to replace the second one with has built in Freeview and now can't find sky on it. What do i need to do ?

Paul Wharton: Use the analogue part of the television to tune in the output from the Sky box. If it doesn't have an analogue tuner then it will not be able to show the output of the Sky box on its own.

Dave Lindsay: where do I find the analogue part ? I haven't seen it

Paul Wharton:
When you tuned your new tv it would have given you the option to either tune Freeview or both Freeview and analogue.
If you tuned both then I would suggest putting your tv on Freeview BBC1, then press the program down button once, this should take you onto analogue 1 where your sky should have tuned to. This does depend on the make of tv that you have. Some TV's will put the analogue channel onto program number 901.

Paul Wharton: Knowledge of the make and model number may be able to ascertain how the analogue part can be tuned, this being if the user manual can be found online.
