For the last six years, I have answered many thousands of personal emails that you have sent to UK Free TV.
Sadly, I am unable to offer this personal service at the moment.
Until I can restore this service, please can you leave any questions you have on an appropriate page, where they will be answered as soon as possible, or below, if you can't figure out where to ask.
I look forward to your questions!

I think it is time the dealers of DAB radios finally caught onto the fact, and I include all the large supermarket retailers with the possible exception of John Lewis who always endeavour to keep up to date with new developments in broadcasting, that DAB+ is the system of the future with most of the large and small independent stations switching to that format, and to stop selling all those DAB radios which cannot receive the new stations. This is no different to retailers stocking new non HD TV receivers which again cannot receive all the freeserve channels.

Nick Anderson: Hi, Nick. I must say, I tend to agree with your sentiments regarding the relative obsolescence of 'original flavour' DAB receivers which do not have a DAB+ feature. From my experience, one of the offenders is 'Currys/PCWorld', from whom I would have expected better!. Even cheap Goodmans DAB radios, which can be purchased online, have DAB+. Richard in Norwich.

Briantist: Brian, could you possibly sort out linking my posts. I updated my email address some while ago, and unfortunately the system lost the connection to my previous 251 posts, the last of which before I changed the email address was My Freeview box has no EPG, is blank on FIVE, ITV3, ITV4, ITV2+1, has no sound o
As you can see the current postings listed with the current email address are only showing 16 posts (presumably when this one is posted).
I am getting email updates OK btw.
Thanks.

Hi why have you removed Quest+1 from its usual spot and reduced the hours from 24 to3 only daily from 0500/0800,this does not sound like the level of service the public have come to expect from a champion provider of freeview TV

Whether they have or not is not a matter for this website. I suggest you contact the relevant broadcaster directly. This particular website is aimed at assisting with technical reception queries and related matters. As such, it is entirely independent of all broadcasters.

Not sure why, but today's email arrived headed as coming from "LO Control [locontrol@lorol.co.uk]" and so got shunted into my Junk Mail box! Any reason for this you are aware of?
Regards and thanks

before some programs on Pick e.g. Stalker, there is a 'trailer' that shows a large dog (bulldog?) writhing aginst a sofa and it looks as though the dog has worms or fleas-it is horrible! and we can't avoid seeing it

It would be better if you contacted the broadcaster as this website has no connection with any of them and is entirely independent.

A suggestion to help those seeking information on what transmitter to use and what the coverage is like. How about a specific page, perhaps drawn from existing coded pages, that allows the entry of a full post code and then displays the transmitter details.
I know there is such a page but it is so difficult to find that I'm sure many don't get the information they seek.
