For the last six years, I have answered many thousands of personal emails that you have sent to UK Free TV.
Sadly, I am unable to offer this personal service at the moment.
Until I can restore this service, please can you leave any questions you have on an appropriate page, where they will be answered as soon as possible, or below, if you can't figure out where to ask.
I look forward to your questions!

i can get more channels when the weather is clear

barbara: You can't get a reliable signal from Winter Hill, so if you want more channels, you will need to install Freesat. See All about Freesat | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice .

I'd like to buy the Freesat box & change to FSFS. I currently recieve Sky digital channels through Virgin Media, I don't pay Sky directly, does this make a difference?

Carol: Yes. You will need to fit a dish, you can't use a Freeview or Freesat box with the cable connection, it belongs to Virgin.

Briantist: A new update for the HUMAX HD-Fox-T2 freeview receiver. It includes the Humax TV Portal (Beta) plus a number of bug fixes. At the moment there is only BBC iPlayer, internet radio, Wiki@TV and flickr on the TV Portal.

Briantist: Reading on the SES Astra web site it mentions that Astra 1N has arrived in French Guiana for launching early July 2011. Before it finally arrives at orbital position 19.2 East it will be positioned at 28.2 East to supplement the Astra 2 satellites. It will be interesting to find out why they are doing that.

NottsUK: It will either be a backup for the existing satellites, or perhaps a stand-in for Astra 2E which will now launch in 2013, due to the pressure for UK services.
