Hi, just recently moved house, i installed my original sky dish and receiver box in the new address, the screen displays "no signal being received", is there any way i can watch tv until a sky engineer comes out as i have contacted sky to change address and they say it will be a week before they can get an engineer out

I am moving house and leaving Sky,I am taking my sat dish with me which has 4outlets, I will be getting an installer to set this up. I have bought a Humax + freesat box for my lounge. I will be wanting freesat in both bedrooms (these rooms both have ariel sockets as its a new build house). I will therefore be left with a sky+ box with viewing card, and another sky box with viewing card that was used in my daughters bedroom. ( I also have another 2 sky box's without viewing cards)!!!! My question, can the box's be used in the bedrooms without having to pay Sky 1 more penny, they,ve had enough cash from me! I have been told conflicting things some have said I have to pay sky £25 for the card? But on the other hand have been told I can cancel my sky subscription and just carry on using the box's as a freesat receiver. Sorry to make this so long winded, but I,m a female who hasn't much knowledege about all of this. many thanks

My Sky set top box has packed up. I have an old Sky+ set top box can this be used as a replacement to my set top box that no longer works.
If so how would I set it up ?

Mark Garner: Just connect the Sky+ box using the first satellite input feed and power on.

Hi, I have a Sky HD Box. I have recently encountered a pixilated screen and the message "No signal being received" I have gone thru all the suggestions:
Phoned Sky - Firmware on Box updated
Checked the LNB status - Both signal fluctuating and somtimes signal unlocks.

I have checked all the connections and wiring and even changed the co-axial cable from the dish to the box and still I get the same problem. HELP!!!
