Sadly, I am unable to offer this personal service at the moment.

Until I can restore this service, please can you leave any questions you have on an appropriate page, where they will be answered as soon as possible, or below, if you can't figure out where to ask.

Briantist: I see Real Digital have signed an agreement with Conax to provide the encryption system for their receivers when Real Digital starts later in the year.
Also I beleive that ITV are testing a 3D channel on Astra 2B, unfortunately this is encrypted.

NottsUK: The 3D broadcasts usually appear as a "split screen" on normal receivers as the left and right eye views are carried in a single HD frame - the horizontal resolution of each is halved to fit it into a single "standard" frame.

Ken: Digital UK also say you get Freeview Light from 20th July 2011, but you have to wait for the 27 June 2012 to get the full service.

pauline: It is possible that the dish has become misaligned from the satellites. You will probably need an engineer (with a satellite signal meter) to fix it.

drew: I'm not sure there are any TV sets that can do this, but the Humax FOXSAT-HDR Freesat device provides this facility.

Briantist: I note that Ofcom have published an updated version of the Digital Switchover Timetable - publication date of 21 April 2011. They have also released an updated version of the Table of Stations on the same date.

I recently cancelled my Sky TV package and was expecting to still be able to view any freeview/ free to air channels via my Sky + box... but I am only able to watch channels BBC 1 & 2, ITV 1, channel 4 and channel 5. My phone line is no longer connected.. is this why ?

This is an impressive work and just observe the following:-

FV: Ch M is Manchester only
Movies4Men is Manchester only
Russia Today is 24hr, not only daytime.

DAB: The following are also on DAB here in London but the intro does not specify "only national" for the inclusion of 'DAB'!
Radio London, Capital, Heart, Heat, Kerrang, LBC News, Magic, The Hits Radio, UCB Gospel, UCB Inspirational.

'NI' - Interestingly this use of initials ignores the red diagonal cross of Northern Ireland as on the Union flag ?

many thanks
