Dee: The engineer was correct when he said that Sutton Coldfield is currently the strongest Freeview signal, and after switchover is predicted to deliver all six muxes with good reception. However it will still be West Midlands local news. The Little Eaton relay which carries East Midlands news will transmit MuxBBCA from 17th August 2011 and Mux D3+4 from 31st August 2011. This is however a Freeview Lite transmitter and will only transmit the 3 PSB muxes. You can try tuning in on 17th August to see if the signal is strong enough to be received off the side of the Sutton Coldfield aerial, however if this does not work you will need an additional aerial pointing at the Little Eaton relay, connected to the same downlead via a diplexer to receive all available services and East Midlands news.

Looks like you still have tv news in the bottom of your channel list. For 1 thing you listed under adult when it was a news channel and for seconds its closed ages ago

Its right at the bottom of the full list and you listed under adult channels.

I have mentioned this more then once. If you expect people to use your channel list it at least needs to be correct. Anyone who has tv news still listed on there box needs to re tune as it was removed from the MUX ages ago.

Rea: Hello, thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately I have no idea where I am ment to be receiving tv from im afraid. When I tried a first time installation tonight I now have the BBC channels but the picture and sound are broken. I think it found 31 channels.

If I manually tune on ch25 it finds 10 channels, and it finds no channels on ch43...

daniel: Sorry, I didn't see it there at the bottom of the list, I thought I had already deleted it.

Hi Everyone.
I have ditch sky a couple of months ago,
And i have been with them 22 years, august 1989 when i got my 16 channel amstrad box.
since i have left sky (which i think is a big con)the freeview channels arn't free.
i have been told by sky i need to pay £19 for a card to recieve the freeview channels.
so after 22 years of being with them they still want more money so i can watch freeview channels, i have got a freesat hd box, but there are a lot of freeview channels missing, so i have now got a bt vision box & package.
bt vision is working great and it's a lot cheaper than sky, and there is a wide selection of programes to choose from.
so why does freesat (which uses the sky dish) only shows some of the freeview channels?
and why do we have to pay sky £19 to be able to watch the freeview channels?
freeview should be FREE otherwise it's not free and it's missleading the public.
If you have already paid for a sky package then cancel, then you should be able to view all freeview channels without having to pay to watch free channels.
I wish you all well with freeview.
Regards
Donnyboy
