According to Quest sets Freeview launch date - News - Broadcast, the Discovery Quest channel will finally launch, after the failure earlier this year.

And the date will be 30 September 2009, and will show "lifestyle, factual and entertainment programming plus scripted dramas", and not the usual Discovery "Shark Attack" fare.

If this happens to be the multiplex-reoganization date by design or accident remains to be seen.

Fingers crossed that this time, unlike 14 May, the channel will get beyond a promotional video.
