I am in Mickleover,Derby using the Nottingham transmitter. I now have no ITV1, Ch4 & Ch5. Where have they gone. Tried resetting and manually tuning but nothing. What do I do next? Am I going to have to get a man to re point my aerial towards Sutton Coldfield? Do I buy Sky?

Hi
I am using a LG tv with inbuilt HD tuner and external rooftop aerial. All the channels are tuned but I am not getting any HD channels. Postcode is ha37au. No other devices at home like gaming consoles, another Tv etc.
Is there any problem with the postcode or something missing from my side?
Thanks

vin: You should be able to receive the HD channels if you have the right equipment. Check that the TV actually has the Freeview HD logo and not just an HD Ready logo. See What does "Full HD Ready" actually mean? | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice for more on this.
If you're sure it is Freeview HD-compatible, you may have interference on C31. See Single Frequency Interference.

my TV used to get the HD channels, but now they have disappeared. All the SD channels are still there. If I do a manual scan of channel 31 (which is the channel you say the Crystal Palace HD channels are on), it can't find anything. The EPG shows the programme info for the HD channels still. The system info on BBC1 etc shows good signal strength (82%) and 100% signal quality. Postcode area GU17 9JH. Why would HD have vanished?

Nick: Transmitter engineering info for Crystal Palace says "very weak signal from 12:58 yesterday to 13:40 yesterday" for HD.
Suspect that this may be the cause of your signal loss, but their information implies that it should be back today.
