A beta release of BBC iPlayer on Freesat is available to Humax Freesat boxes in December.

BBC iPlayer will roll out across all existing Freesat HD TVs and boxes in the next few months including those bought since Freesat's launch in May 2008.

Long-awaited ability to access iPlayer on 2008 Viera's seems to have been kicked into the long grass. Initial release dates were end of the summer, then October, now "Panasonic are not in a position to give a full update regarding the anticipated time line for the update".

We have iPlayer working just fine on our new Panasonic Viera on Freesat 901, but there are no radio programmes available - the channels just are not there. We used to catch up on some radio programmes using my son's Wii but would now prefer to use the TV.
Any ideas why there is no radio?

John Rudman: I'm not sure if the Radio programmes are carried by the Freesat version of iPlayer - they are missing from the Virgin version as well, I think.

Tudor: I am presuming you do have sound for everything else, such as watching TV from the box?
