Ivybridge DAB transmitter brings BBC national services to A38

The south of Dartmoor National Park, Ivybridge and the A38 now have BBC DAB services.

The Ivybridge DAB transmitter, slightly to the south of the town, went on air yesterday morning.

It adds a 12,000 people to the network and improves coverage for around 70,000 people.

The section of the A38 trunk road now has DAB vehicular coverage from South Brent into Plymouth.
