New features for "My Settings" box and the "Newsbucket"
From today, the MY SETTINGS box, at the top right of every UK Free TV page now has the following new features:
- Direct links to all of your local transmitters.
- Transmitters with engineering work are shown in red - click to see details.
- The best three unused RF channels at your location are shown. This is used with How to change the RF output channel on a Sky Digibox to ensure you get the best quality signal.
Newsbucket
In the Newsbucket - which for the last three years has daily posted links to news stories about Freeview, Freesat, YouView and free radio and TV channels - now has access to the history using the tabs at the bottom of the page. You can now go all the way back to Wednesday 14th May 2008.All questions

Yet another enhancement, Brian! Very useful.

michael: Thanks.
I have not yet changed the database, because I'm still not happy with the results for the transmitters in the Scottish Islands.
Hopefully the next run will be OK. I'm sorry for the delay, but it takes ages to generate the high resolution "ray traces" from the whole of the UK.
