mick: Hi, Mick. First of all, we need to know where roughly in Leicester you live, so that we can work out if, indeed there is an alternative Freeview transmitter that you could, in fact, use, to receive East Midlands programmes. Either the name of your district or the nearest nearby main road number or the postcode of a local shop, Garage or Post Office would do. It is worth us checking this for you before recommending an alternative to Freeview such as Freesat. Hope to hear from you again during this afternoon, Richard, Norwich.

mick:Hi, Mick. I have checked Digital UK which says you should use Sutton Coldfield (West Midlands) or Waltham on the Wolds (near Melton Mowbray) (East Midlands). Since you have already stated that you cannot receive from Waltham on the Wolds, your only realistic alternative for you to get the East Midlands region is to invest in a Freesat installation which requires a satellite dish, satellite cabling and a tv set that has a Freesat receiver - most tvs only have Freeview, not Freesat, although Panasonic is a good brand for Freesat. Keith: Which satellite receiver box are you using? If it's a Sky box the region is set by the address the viewing card is registered to, Freesat boxes set their region by asking for a postcode during the initial setup. Generic free to air receivers will vary, so check the instructions.
