Matt: If you already have a setup for 13°E, enter the MediaSat Premium Calcio parameters and check the signal strength and quality bars displayed. If ok, a valid card and receiver would work. On sites such as lyngsat and kingofsat you can check the footprints of the MediaSat transponder to see if the beam covers the UK. Anybody here who views Premium Calcio might be able to confirm this independently, of course.

Michael - The problem I have is that my receiver doesnt pick up the channels? Would entering the card into the decoder make any difference?

According to the freeview map at my postcode I have no signal from either Stockland or Beacon Hill.
When is this situation likely to change so that Tipton St John can have an acceptable freeview signal

John Harding: Have you tried pointing an aerial at Stockland Hill as Digital UK say you should get a perfect set of multiplexes from the transmitter.

Matt: Paste the link below into your browser. Premium is no longer broadcast. Maybe it is Sky Calcio that you want. Check the listed channels in your receiver to see if you get good signal strength and quality with the blank screen. If ok, you will need to find out whether you can get a valid Italian Sky "VideoGuard" card that will work in your receiver. It may only be available via a bona-fide Italian address and may only work in specific receivers. Link:

Hi,
I was looking to the freeview channels on Hotbird E on this page, mainly with the interest of understanding if it's worth to buy a freeview HD set top box.

I cannot believe I can get so many SKY HD channels for free (i.e. Cinema 1 HD, Sky Calco 3 HD, etc). What is the floor? Will they be off air soon and they are just doing trials?

Only Sky Premium has become free, but may not
stay so for long. Occasionally channels are temporarily switched to free for technical reasons or to win new subscribers. You need a Tivu box to receive all the channels which are free to viewers with a codice fiscale. See previous posts.
