I have now lost all signal can you tell me what the problem might be?
The problem could be one of:
- the aerial has been moved or damaged;
- the cables or connectors that connect the digibox to the aerial are damaged;
- the digibox has broken.
If you have a "spare" digibox you use this to test the aerial connection. Can you still watch analogue TV OK?

Ami:
The Mendip transmitter that you use has some work done on 27th February to prepare it for a further allocation of channels due in June 2018. You should have done the retune immediately after 27th February but not since. All you have now achieved is total loss of all channels!
Start checking all the aerial connections you can safely reach. Unplug each coaxial plug/socket and then refit. Then try Logical Channel 1 (BBC1) and manually tune it to Channel 49 for PSB1 (698.00 MHz) multiplex which carries BBC1 services. If you now get BBC1, try a full retune and check that you are getting all the logical channels and then check you can get all the programme channels.

We are watching Freeview from OX11 8JT, I understand from the Oxford transmitter.
The local Oxford Channel 7 has been severely pixilated or unwatchable for some time. 5Spike, meanwhile, has been ok. Today, 5Spike, on channel 31, became pixilated and unwatchable so we did a full re-tune. Now Channels 7 and 31 have disappeared from our list.
Thanks in advance for any advice you can give.

Jo & Iain: Retuning is never a good idea when you have a weak signal as all you are doing is deleting the channels which were already correctly tuned and searching for them again. As there are no transmitter faults showing for Oxford, the most likely cause is something in your aerial system. Start by checking for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV, then work your way along the cable as far as you can safely access towards the aerial.

andrea mcgrahan : You won't receive any analogue channels as they were all closed down in favour of digital TV a few years ago. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Please provide a full postcode so that we can see which transmitter you're using, where you are in relation to it and your predicted coverage etc.

If you look at Digital UK | Planned engineering works it shows that the Machynlleth relay is expected to have possible service interruptions.

peter: There are no faults showing for the Penaligon Down transmitter. Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections? Have you checked with any neighbours whether they're having any problems with Freeview? Do not attempt to retune.
