It's not possible to switchover to digital early for a couple of reasons:

- whole TV transmitter regions need to be switched together;

- there is a tight schedule to replace the equipment at each transmitter;

- the allocated frequencies for the three digital multiplexes are used in the region for other analogue relay transmitters.

we have lost tv signals and programmes in 'A' is this due to sudbury re-tune on 27th June or is this anything to do with tacleston in norfolk having work
