Freeview is on a very sad decline.
I'm trying to get this site back into shape.
Would a "contact your MP" function be useful - based on your Freeview transmitter?

Chris.SE: The Your Comments and Can you help pages are now much better written and are caused for 5 seconds, rather than much longer (the code said a minute).

The deep links to the comments need to be replaced with code that runs when required. This may not function until I work out a better way to make them work.

BN Butterworth: Several old posts (from a few years ago, with no recent comments on the pages in question) have started appearing at the top of the Your Comments page.

Yes, very strange, totally random, it even caught out Steve Donaldson, 10 years later :o
Last night the caching was either very very long or not working!

Sorry for the finger trouble above (double post), the other strange thing in the last 24hrs or so, is when you click a comment link, the name of the poster doesn't appear in the (reply) comment box now.
(PS. Are you working for Network Rail now?).

Chris.SE: I work for a company called Whoosh Media (aka "Road River Rail") which does work for Network Rail amongst others.
I'm quite proud of the BSL system we have done for SWR - you can get BSL updates as your travel, it's very cool (I didn't do the actual videos!)

Ah, when I clicked on the link in your name, the page was showing the network rail logo in that page header, I didn't pay any attention to the url :o
You must be having "fun" trying to redo some of this site's code, I would imagine that it's quite complex!
I see you're moving about a bit, current;y in Halifax :D
Links in "Your comments" for posts seem to be popping up a bit randomly atm, one for Darvel 10 days ago. is the most recent oddity.
I see the Spam is creeping back again :(
