We have the Bluebell Hill transmitter every time the weather has a HIGH condition we have pixelation problems living only a short distance away in Matfield in the recent rugby World cup final with only 10 minutes left to play we lost ITV altogether with only a black screen only to return when the game was over when the weather is LOW we might have rain but no pixelation BH say there is nothing they can do about it due to the weather

There have been many recent reports of such reception problems, and there have been many reports of atmospheric affects that can cause just the situation you report. So it is quite likely that the well known 'temperature inversion' effect may well be causing your problems. In such a situation do NOT try to retune your equipment as you are likely to lose even more channels.

Derek walket: No one can answer that without some basic information such as where you are and which transmitter you're using (please provide a full postcode). Have you checked for any loose or damaged cables or connections behind your TV? Have you lost any other channels?

Det: Tru TV has moved to the local multiplex and is only available on Freeview in areas where there is a local channel on 7 or 8, which doesn't include anywhere in Cornwall.
