Jordy: This should be very interesting, but it is increasingly hard to see which would use DRM+. It will certianly add to what we learnt from Project Mayflower.

What would be more interesting if anyone in the service area had the Radio Mondiale rx equipment and the decoding software... Shame it's a closed technical trial participation by members of public might make the technology more user friendly...

Brian - No it's my understanding that DRM+ refers to the upper end of VHF band 2 of newly released spectrum. They're both using the MPEG4 codec and from what i've read limited to 174mHz. Which means could sit rather nicely within band 3 aperture. A considerable financial saving...

Try - Digital Radio Mondiale - Summary 's will use the old Talk Sport of 107.0 i'm told...

Morphy Richards DRM review from TechRadar UK's expert reviews of Radios .
DRM is designed for the AM band (30mHz) and DRM+ is integrated into Band 2 - Lower band 3 then there is no compatibility from what i gather...
