When a region goes full digital, will the transmitter power be increased to help those living in fringe areas to get better reception and less dropout.

Ian Gosling: Yes, everyone who can get an analogue signal before switchover will get a digital one afterwards.
This is, after all, the whole point of the exercise.

steven hodge: You stand no chance whatsoever of a loft or internal aerial providing digital TV at your location.
A top-class rooftop aerial *MAY* provide Freeview for you, but this *MAY* not be the case until 2012.
If I were you, I would install Freesat.

Jez: No, you can't do that. Sky require an one year minimum contract for Sky Sports and their hardware.

Can you help plese, this might have been answedred already but can't find it, if so apologies in advance.
Problem.
I have sky hd downstairs and use the rf out on the back to a second tv upstairs, which shows the sky channel superb. However when viewing the digital channels on normal television they freeze. I believe this is to do with the rf2 output channel, however I have no idea what to set this to. i have tried changing it and either get a good sky signal freeze pictures or rubbish sky picture and some freeview channels. This is the only aerial I use. I live in the BL2 area (Granada TV)
Help please thanks.
