Postcode SY22 area. Llanfyllin transmitter
I have been unable to get any Freeview channels since the early part of w/c 14.3.11. It states no signal. We are receiving Sky ok. I have reset the box & reinstalled, changed the freeview box, changed TVs, changed leads but there is 0% reception. I notice Llanfyllin transmitter was worked on this week. Is there any problems with this transmitter?

My mother keps getting a sunburst effect from one of the bottom corners of her screen which lasts just a few seconds. Our retailer has never seen it so is sceptical, and only suggests sending it back to JVC, who no longer make this mosel with built in hard drive recorder. Any suggestions?

have they just recently reduced the DTV amplification in the sudbury area because i was getting over 76 tv stations at a high signal strength for a few years. then all of a sudden nothing. have checked for time of day to relate to RI and/or any street lighting turned everything off in my house back to the RCB incase its something i have plugged in. unplugged any wireless transmitting devices and turned off any mobile phones. still nothing i have paid for new av leads (top quality as this is where poeple lose a lot of signal strength. was just wondering if the anologue signal has been turned off and digital was using this anologue signal as a carrier and boosting its receptive range? or could it be something more local as a few years back with my broadband a hookey sky box bled so much rein it knocked out 300homes worth. can stuff have a similar effect on DTV signals as they are much higher bandwidth?

I have a neighbour who has a rotary lawn mower (electric) that causes interference on her immediate neighbour's DTV. He wants her to get it fixed, which he will do if she buys the bits. I live a few doors away and I have tested it in my house and sure enough it causes the picture to break up (on BBC1 at least). I'd like to help her to avoid any further bad feeling between them. What can I buy and how would I fit it please?

Please help. I live Tf12 5 and use hg aerial on sutton coldfield transmitter . I get nightly pixelating and cracking from about 19:00 to 22:00 and some outside those times on itv channels. Neighbours all on sky so they got no problems Signal strenght 60% quality 100%. Use bt vision. When connected direct my samsung reports bit error 7 ish when the picture breaks. I have switched off everything in the house but problem still exits. Other digital tvs with local aerials are ok. I guess they getting signal from wrekin . Oh. We are detatched too so nothing coming from next door. So why the interference and why at those times ?

Graham - have you checked that your ITV signal (as received by the BT Vision box) is actually coming from SC (should be using UHF channel 44 for digital)?
I'm wondering whether the box has tuned itself to a different Tx (e.g. The Wrekin) at a lower UHF channel which might explain the duff reception.
