Modifications made to aerial group markings
Back in March 2009, I added in coloured bars to to show the Aerial groups associated with each of the UHF broadcast frequencies.
I had taken a somewhat "absolute" view of the groups, following the "official" allocations:
In response to the possibilities of three new multiplexes, I have now introduced a more sophisticated version of the colour bars, where frequencies that are out of group, but still provide some signal are indicated with a lighter shade of the group's colour:
This follows the "ITC reference" values that Ofcom and Arqiva use:
Hopefully you will find this useful.

So - "A lighter shade of pale" ?
Can you add something to explain why an ae directed (I think) at Winter Hill NNE gets 27 but neither 24 nor 31 from the Wrekin?
(not a serious question! - I assume it's just that at the angle some elements are suitably spaced.

Steve P: The Wrekin no longer transmits on C24 or C31. SDN moved to C41 yesterday morning. Mux A stopped using C24 at switchover, taking over C31 from Mux 2.

MD - Thanks. Is it all over now?
I have gone satellite on the two main tvs so it is only the rarely used bedroom set that is on Freesat - with the wrong ae!

I meant "all over for The Wrekin"
I saw you mention deleting Wrekin B - is it deaded?

Steve P: Yes, The Wrekin now broadcasts six multiplexes on one set of channels, so the "B" is no longer required - The Wrekin B closed TV transmitter | ukfree.tv - independent free digital TV advice

We have been able to receive digital broadcasts until this morning at about 7.30. We were asked to retune shortly after then and can receive nothing since then. I have attempted to retune several times since then and have had no joy. The reception had been improved after 28th Sept. so we were pleased. We are feeling much less pleased at the moment. Nothing seems to have changed with our aerial could you have an explanation. please
