I live in South Petherton and used to get a reasonable DAB signal using portable radios provided the set was near a window. Recently I have found the signal varies through the day, good at breakfast time and evening, but poor to unusable in the middle of the day. This has continued over many months.
FM reception is not very good; I think we are in the shadow of a church if , as I believe the signal comes from Wenvoe; the portable we like to use is DAB only!

Briantist: Yes, on the map you pointed me to, so thanks - but not on the map on this page. Are there proposed or hoped for dates for the 'coming' transmitters?

I get it now - I had to click on Inverness, way to the north, to see the transmitters in the West Highlands.

Same story here in Bolton le Sands, but that's the reason why. Weirdly, only Heart seemed to be warning people, others (that I tried) didn't at all

Hi guys I live in surrey and regularly travel around virginia water egham sunningdale ascot area and my Dab signal with the exception of sunningdale-sunninghill area was good. I have Dab in both my van and car and upto a week or so it has been great but just recently it has been totally rubbish. Have they reduced the radiated power of the transmitter or is it something more sinister. Can't live without my Smooth 70s
Any ideas??
