I found this too, and I found it's my iPhone 5 charging cable and the Belkin USB charger.
Both cause a significant loss of DAB signal, but when used together, my DAB signal is virtually obliterated. Even with an external aerial!

Am moving to Herne Bay, and found when I was there in June that I could not receive any DAB reception, and analogue was a bit sparse too. I could hear radios 5 and 4 and World Service via TV, but have a personal radio which I take everywhere, and it was useless. Excellent reception in Cumbria, but I will need it in Herne Bay. Difficult to get any info; is there a protest group? Can't do without my radio, and the general consensus in the North is that the South gets everything - not in Herne Bay!

There's nothing showing for the new Aylesbury (Quainton?) DAB transmitter that seemed to be in the plan for this year. Is there any news on this? I can't get a decent signal from Oxford here.

DAB Radio transmitter in Brecon has started. Can get 10 National Station but not BBC Radio Cymru or BBC Radio Wales at present. Don't know whether they are transmitting from the old VHF Radio Station or moved to the TV Transmitter. Although as with the Freeview TV it will only be a lite service, no commercial stations.

Gary Blackledge: You won't get BBC Radio Cymru or BBC Radio Wales on the national DAB multiplex because it's the same multiplex all over the UK.
The local BBC radio stations (or "national" in Wales and also Scotland and Northern Ireland) can only be carried on local multiplexes which are operated by commercial broadcasters.

Gary Blackledge: The local multiplex for mid Wales (Ceredigion & Powys) should be on in Brecon by 2016, under a funding agreement signed between the Government, BBC & commercial radio. This will carry BBC Radio Wales & BBC Radio Cymru, as well as some commercial stations.
