UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).

John McQuistan:
Here's the latest communication from the BBC regarding the recent loss of radio 4 from Cambret.
"Thanks for letting us know with regard to this problem on Radio 4, as you were quite right!
Upon investigation at the Cambret Hill transmitter, the engineer found a loose audio connector, and resolved the issue. Thankfully Radio 4 was back up to normal service on the 19th at 13:30.
Thanks for keeping a vigilant ear.Hope this has helped."
Nice to know my hunch was correct. An broadcast apology would have been appreciated .
Happy Listening

John McQuistan: Hi, John. It is very heartening and comforting to hear from you that the BBC eventually took your Cambret Hill transmitter issue seriously, especially following other UKFREE.TV posters who had posted that their comments to the BBC had been ridiculed. When one knows that one is right the time is ripe for one to take it upon oneself to take individual action. I am glad that your issue has been successfully resolved. Richard, Norwich.
