Are all Widescreen TVs digital?
No. Most are not ââ¬â widescreen TVs have been around for considerably longer than digital TV.
Unless your TV is an ââ¬Åintegrated digital TVââ¬Â (or idTV), the TV will not have the ability to receive digital TV from Freeview, digital satellite TV or digital cable without a connection to a digital decoder box.
It is VITAL that you ensure that you have connected the box to the TV correctly. Follow these steps to guarantee you are using your TV to full potential and getting the best quality in-home TV pictures ever seen:
You must use a full-specification SCART cable. You must also ensure that this cable connects from the ââ¬ÅTVââ¬Â socket on the decoder box to the ââ¬ÅRGBââ¬Â SCART connector on your TV. Finally, you must set your set-top box correctly for Widescreen.
I don't ordinarily comment but I gotta state appreciate it for the post on this great one :
