UK Free TV shows the coverage area for a radio transmitter as a coloured overlay (orange for FM, other colours for DAB) on the grey map. We have computed the coverage by combining the terrain with the official radiation pattern. A single click will select the transmitter to view the coverage for a single site, and a double click goes to a page showing full details. Click on the buttons in the right-hand corner of the map to choose from different frequencies (or multiplexes for DAB).
Are there any planned engineering works or unexpected transmitter faults on the Fort William (Highland, Scotland) mast?

Fort William Radio 2 VHF FM has been unusable since at least around 0000h 1st June 2019 (possibly earlier but I had not listed to it since much earlier in the day). Very distorted. Other services OK.
Reported on the phone (037 number) but still not showing as faulty on the BBC reception page.
Does not give a lot of confidence in their monitoring and fault recording system.

1745h Sunday 2nd June and Radio 2 is still unusable.
There seems to have been a mains loss at the site this afternoon so it was on reduced power but Radio 2 remained unusable. The BBC website only showed five of the six service on reduced power.
Someone else has now phoned in to report the fault but still nothing about it on the BBC reception page.

Fort William Radio 2 VHF FM normal again sometime around 15:00 - so unusable for two and a half days.
