My video doesn't work with my digital TV box, help!
Usually it is only necessary to use two SCART cables to connect a TV and video to a Freeview box or Digibox :
Use one to connect the TV connector on the Freeview/Digibox to the first SCART socket on the TV (labelled RGB)
Use the other to connect the Video connector on the Freeview/Digibox box to the Video. If the video has two SCART sockets, use the one labelled "IN/OUT"
Once this is done you can:
1. Watch videos by pressing PLAY on the video; the digital TV box will pass the signal though to the TV for you.
2. Record from the current digital TV channel on a "line input" (often L1 or some such) onto the video player.
If you add any extra cables the TV, Video and digital TV box will behave in an unpredictable way.
