Low and behold as someone previously stated with the weather around the London area...the ITV Mux returned to normal yesterday and is fine again today.

In response to AD.....I too have had signal issues since Saturday on the Mux 2 (ITV etc) from the Crystal Palace transmitter. I have a varying signal strength. Hopefully as previously mentioned here, it is the inversion effect, althouth I feel this is a pretty poor excuse! Can't wait for 18th April when we finally switch in the London region and the digital signal is boosted.
All of the transmitter engineering listed on this site mentions BBC and not ITV so it must be the atmospherics.
