Hi,

Living near Horsham, I use Midhurst and was surprised to find that I couldn't get MuxC on freeview even though it has comparable power to others that I can get.

I think I've figured out what's wrong now:
A number of people local to me watch Heathfield, which is about 180 degrees from Midhurst (so off the back of the beam) and ITV1 Heathfield is on C64 (same as MuxC Midhurst), which I can see on analogue albeit with a lot of patterning.....

Thanks Brian. It's RH13 9XX. Now that I've figured it out, I'm perfectly happy with the situation and don't expect any change until Mar 14th.

I thought my post might be of use to others in my area (like the poster who isn't getting 'Mux3' - He must mean MuxC).

I guess, in theory, as Heathfield doesn't close it's ITV1 until 13th June, I may have to wait until then.

So be it....

Switchover starts in West Sussex
Sunday 4 March 2012 5:07PM

Did you know - During the 2 week switchover period most of the BBC services that are on the 'old' MUXB are also on the 'new' MUX1, stored in the 800+ channels?

Totally useless piece of info I guess, as when DSO is completed, I guess these will dissappear....

Neil Saone: Heathfield analogue ITV1 is on the same frequency as Midhurst MuxC right now, so where you are, you're not likely to get MuxC. I think you'll be alright from 14th March after the 2nd part of Midhurst DSO.
